    Good idea?

I can't help thinking this is a bit shortsighted, unless it's purely a marketing stunt by the spreadfirefox people. Are they really affiliated with mozilla?

Unless mozilla have hired an Exabit/s connection to the Internet for the day, they could be setting records for the world's slowest download!

I've been using FF3 (it was in beta with Ubuntu 8) for a few weeks now, and I quite like it. It doesn't feel like a different browser from FF2, but it does seem like the right tool for safely and easily browsing the Web.

According to the most recent data
    from Web metrics vendor
    Net Applications, Microsoft's
    Internet Explorer accounted 78.7%
of the all browsers used last month,
    compared with Firefox's 14.5% and Safari's 4.8%.

    :computerworld

I'm using mozilla as browser default (more secured)

Yup, been using Firefox for years. But isn't this going to crash FF's server?

    Anyway, looking forward to FF3

world's slowest download? This is not only for break record. This is a history of internet.Their also want to test the limit of internet. When their are decide to break record, their have already prepare using high performance technology.Their are using most advance technology than us.The affiliated is about to promote their free software. We help mozila to promote with put their banner and link at our website because we are support open source and free software foundation.
