Hi there, I new in php script but i have some basic about programming (html, c++ & css)

I already see your site, it's using php to create it, me very like the scrolling features about your site under the 'last post' session, how do i make it? now I using the Dreamweaver MX 2004 to create one site, and I plan for using php.

Any tips or good site for a beginner in php?
I need some sites which provide php scripts or fast tutorial,
Your help is appreciated!

the scrolling text is using javascript from:

I modified the script so that it will load my php script to display last recently post.

To learn PHP, you MUST download and read the php manual. Get it from http://www.php.net

You may ask in here if you face any problem on PHP. There are many experts here (not me).

I recommend this book: "PHP and MySQL Web Development".

I bought it about 2 years ago... dunno if there are new editions. I'm sure you can find it in MPH. Good book for beginners and advanced users alike.

As for the php manual... the last time I read it was many monts ago but at that time it seemed to be very beginner-unfriendly. Might be better now.
