How about the poll starter or any1 posting some reviews of the listed P2P clients/methods for us to get some quick ideas of them?

Not many I suppose would have tried all the P2P clients listed.

The better survey question should include which of them have one used.

    ...

btw, ardilles, FTP is file transfer protocol, one of the major file transfer method via the Internet. P2P mentioned here is an abbr for Peer-to-Peer (not point-to-point by the way), which uses several different protocol/method to distribute or share files/bits of data. Most P2P names refer to the 'network' or community it uses to share files. For instance, at one time (in history), Morpheus and Kazaa was using the same community.

BitTorrent is a protocol by itself to facilitate file sharing, which is becoming a defacto in p2p world, one of the most popular today consuming significant peer-sharing traffic today as it's normally used to share bits of huge media files including those in the forms of complete audio CD/collection, DVD or raw media.

The good thing about BT is that you don't really need a specific client to join the network. The protocol is supported by a number of official and non-official clients and you can search for files even using major search engines like Google!

That's about it from the top of my head on this Friday afternoon. I'll perhaps update later once I'll do some research and editorial work based on materials available on the net. Have a good wknd everyone...

Ops... sorry ardiles... now I get it... p2p should has it's on subforum, not dump in "FTP program".. baru bangun from tgh hari nap daa...

I now see the benefit of using Gilmore Girls-like sentences instead of SMS versions of celahan...

Anyway, let's have an afternoon quick lesson...
