Agreed. Gmail is the best. Threaded messages ftw! My yahoo mail is for spam.

Can't understand why Hotmail does not fight back

Definitely Google first, Yahoo! second, Hotmail distantly behind.

But some Google weakness or questions:

    * Does not have children accounts like Yahoo.

    * Does Google allow some sort of alias? This is so I can receive emails for work, game, and personal sources and have some ways of separating them?

I cannot understand why Hotmail / Microsoft does not really try to fight back. A good email service is so basic it leads the users to use other related services (blog, calendar, etc).

Gmail is nice.. but I prefer able create folders for Gmail.. rather than using labels.. Gmail have many easy to use functions such as GTalk, calendar, POP3 email settings, and many more.

Gmail can allow grab mails from other accounts.. haha (this i like)

If u all are referring to the web based email from hosting providers..I prefer SmarterMail..

actually now i'm already used to the label instead of moving to folder.

If you wish to hide that particular email you actually can archive it. Then the label of inbox will be remove, you will never c the email in your inbox.

the most interested feature of Gmail web mail is the filtering and color labeling. I ultilize this features a lot

Beware of using free webmail for business

A common problem with these free webbased mail services is that some mail get lost or can be badly delayed they are ok for playing about with but seriously who uses a hotmail or yahoo email for thier business, it is not very professional.

They are fine for creating thowaway email addresses which are used by spammers.

I still believe Gmail engine still the best and most reliable web mail engine compare to other.

Even now you may also run your own domain email with the google mail engine at google app.
