    Question Questions regarding Hosting

    Hello there,

Just thought to ask ya how did you change your settings in your domain manager when transferring host? Is it as simple as changing its DNS to the new server and you will be able to log into the CPanel of the new server?

Ive currently got a paid hosting with Hive, and Ive decided to let Hive manage the domain (mrdefinite.com) but with its server changed to another hosting company.

And Ive got another domain without hostwithkenneth.comwhich redirects to mrdefinite.com at the moment.

If lets say I point the DNS of withkenneth.com to Hives server (the one mrdefinite.com was originally pointing to) after Ive transfered mrdefinite.coms server to another company, do you think I am able to log into the CPanel for both domains?

If so does that mean the CPanel URLs for both domains (with a host respectively) are now OpenDNS and 绝对鲜师 | mrdefinite.com - It’s hot.

Is it supposed to be done like that? Thanks a lot!

    Hello,

You can just change the Nameserver of the domain to point to your new host. And you also can change the nameserver of withkenneth.com to point to Hive.

However, in the Hive server, it you must setup the domain configuration. In which that the hive server must recognise the withkenneth.com domain.

    Your Part :
    1. Change the nameserver to hive's nameserver

    Your hosting part :
    1. To setup the withkenneth.com domain in the server (exchange with your current domain)

    Or :
If the Cpanel allows you to change the domain without the admin consent, you can do it all by yourself.

Sorry a bit dizzy, fever. I hope you can understand what I type .

Dollah is typing with one hand and one eye.

    Thank you,

Actually I have posted a reply here last night. I waited the next page to load for a very long time and I thought it was posted.

Unfortunately, here I am, replying again, this time with a shorter answer:
Follow fivio's advise, setup domain parking (or add-on, depends on your own preference, check them out in cPanel to know the difference) in your cPanel on Hive's server.

That will be the fastest and easiest way

    Thanks.
