Question Any Malaysia/Indonesia small Xen VPS available?

I saw GLICX's offer a while back, but their small VPSes are not currently available according to their website. Anybody know of anything available locally for <RM50 per month? It has to be Xen - I can't use Virtuozzo/OpenVZ. I'd prefer unmanaged (as long as I can reinstall / reboot!).

Hmm when I preview a post the 'post icons' are floated over the text box. In fact, the whole "Your Message" section looks like element salad.

Your VPS FAQ says control panel is Virtuozzo - does that mean your VPSes are OpenVZ/Virtuozzo? Last time I tried to run my Java applications on a low-end VZ VPS, it was a bloodbath. On Xen, they just work without a hitch.

    Hi Seanie,

    Thanks for your notification.

Please be informed that we have newly launched our New Linux VPS past few months and we no longer used Virtuozzo and currently our Linux VPS configure with Solus VM.

Just a quick update on local Xen VPS. I really only wanted a minimal, cheap VPS because I'm testing development code which is a long way from being commercial. The local sites that really obviously offer Xen VPS (as opposed to OpenVZ/Virtuozzo) that seemed like they might be worth trying - in my opinion from reading their websites and some reviews around the web - were these:

GLICX - website looks very respectable, they list cheap VPS, but say they're sold out. Cheapest on offer (and available, not available cheapest is 128MB RAM for RM30 per month) is 256MB RAM for RM100 per month.
OmniVPS - website looks terrible - they have VPS in Indonesia and Singapore. Cheapest on offer (in Indonesia) is 192MB RAM for RM44 (125,000IDR) per month.
Nocser - website looks competent, but they don't specialise in VPS - Cheapest on offer is 512MB for RM70 per month.

Being a cheapskate, and impressed by their website, I tried emailing GLICX first to see if they would split one of their less popular large VPSes. I got no reply.
Next cheapest was OmniVPS so I emailed them and heard nothing until yesterday morning - a little over 7 weeks after I sent the original email. They offered me a 1 day trial, so I replied straight away and said I wanted it. Today (a day later) they invited me to get in touch with their customer service from their website. The link on their website is a 'ymsgr:' link for Yahoo Messenger. I decided not to get in touch.
I need to get on with my work and get it hosted away from my desk, so I tried Nocser. Every reply from Nocser was instant, so a few minutes after I started, I was using a 512MB VPS that actually only cost me RM35 because they have a promotion on at the moment. I can't fault Nocser's service (I am a customer of 12 hours' standing, bear in mind), except that they don't have a local Ubuntu repository, and in the great scheme of things, that's a hardly even a fault!

I hope that's useful for any other cheapskates looking for a small Xen VPS - 512MB is more than I wanted, but it wouldn't really be fair to complain about that either!
