Suggest me a Good Hosting Company in Malaysia

Hi,

I've an established web services company. And i do subscribe many different hosting company. Today, i'm still confusing which hosting company should i go to.

I am looking for a share hosting, which allows me to host many domain in an account.

Something that i concern.
1. Some hosting company provide you a good support when you are their new customers. At the end, they seems no credit to reply your sms, and have difficulties of Internet connection to reply your email. I do not hope to go into that kind of hosting company anymore.

2. Some hosting company is not a core hosting company. why i say so? Although their well-known name is 'we are a hosting company' but, behind they have a strong software company. Who know they will ignore your superior-system or they might use your system to make some extra? I do not like to take risk. That's why, some system that i develop myself. I never hosted in local hosting company.

I've been using some local hosting company in the past.

But i never try,

2. exabytes

Please advice, and hope someone can some me the way.

Hi smithveg, you can try Serverfreak. They have very good customer service in my experience with them these couple of years. Can't answer your number 2 concern but you can talk to them.

I'm currently using DataKL for my community websites. Their services are normal however their server is fast and not congested. Try it out.

To host many domain in an account, you can always try Exabytes Linux web hosting - add on domains. This is a feature for you to have add ons - means..you can have multiple websites but using the same resources.

Emerge - They are more focus to enterprise customers.
Exabytes - If talk about support, they are favorable for their customer support quality, especially technical support response time.

That's all I wanna comment.

My piece of advice is go and ask any of your friends who has hosted in a hosting company for more than 1 year.

I wonder if this is the best place to ask the question! As JLHC observes, you ask here, and you'll get a lot of replies saying "I am!". Are there any "User Groups" in Malaysia? Maybe if there are, they might be able to give a better opinion.

What's the score with emerge? I see ladycooper says it's (must be #2 then?!) 1 of 2 most popular hosts, but there's a recent thread here with one of their users crying on it. When I saw the thread, I looked at their site, and it was down! Not a good sign in a webhosting company... Only one incident though, maybe they were hit by a meteorite.

I don't have much experience of Malaysian web companies. I don't have the cheapest hosting plan, and my experience is that it's ... all right ... I suppose. People have different requirements and different expectations.

I see you're worried about your hard work being re-used. That's a risk with any kind of hosting. I don't know, but I suspect even dedicated servers would have that problem, if the hosting company had your login credentials. Is that normally the case with dedicated hosting?
