    Talking e-commerce

Hi everyone. I want to introduce myself here as a member outside Msia, actually in Australia(Melbourne). I want to start an e-commerce business between these 2 countries and myself at this end and looking for someone trustworthy over your end to trade with me. I can source for you anything you may be looking for out here, not available there or hard to get. I cannot promise everything, because I am a fulltime worker here 5 days a week. My activities are after hours and weekends at the moment as far as this business is concerned. We can start with small manageable items and things may get bigger later on. Items like foodstuff, clothes, furniture, homewares, electronics, aquarium fish and assessories, car parts and assessories, tablewares, floor tiles, timber, toys, hobby items, jewellery and so on. I am doing sales at the moment of unrelated items, but can manage a change of products as far as my after hours business is concerned. I am quite active on ebay.com.au, ebay.com and ebay.co.uk, but do not have a store site yet. I welcome anyone from any part of Msia including S'pore and other neighbouring countries to participate if they are interested. Hoping to hear from you in the near future. Have a good day.

    Talking International e-commerce

Hi Calvyn. Thanks for your response. Anyone serious will be welcome to my business here. I intend to do international trading in any legal products which I can import here from your side and the other way around too. Initially it will have to be simply orders and payments on a one to one basis, no stocking of products. I order from your side when I get orders from here. When I can find some products which have constant demand on a high volume, I will consider stocking in quantity. So don't consider FCL orders yet, thats too far down the line. I have had many many enquiries so far all talking about FCL orders and thats not possible for the moment, space being the problem and a confirmed market of buyers being the other. If you can help out from your side, it would be great in sourcing for supplies of the things we can sell here while I operate from here. Perhaps a nice website design will be needed later on if any of you can help in a small and cheap way. If you are serious, you can get on to my email address by sending me yours and I will reply directly, cheers Hocky.

Hi Calvyn, perhaps it would be better for you to email me to my address at hocky4711@hotmail.com for further discussions. This way we can keep our dealings more private. This place is for general chat only, cheers John.

    e-commerce

We have a 10% GST here and I have to charge for this on top of the price I give to you of items to be sent to you for resale. I will also have to charge the postage/shipping cost seperately depending on which carrier it is. Most items can be sent over to you, but I am not sure about M/sia's policy about imports, you will have to find out. Over here, we can bring in almost anything except drugs, dangerous items, plant items, food with eggs in them, and so on. Some items will need to be fumigated such as wooden furniture and this has to be done on your side first before shipping and a certificate will be required to travel with the item here. Cheers, John.

    Dropship Concept??

Hmm this ecommerce business looks like using a "dropship concept",
we create a web then put the items from the dropshipper at our site,

once the customer have make a purchase from the web then the owner of the web will sent a email with details information to the dropshipper to packing and shipping the product to their customer..

It is true ?? Sorry if im wrong...

Your dropship concept is very interesting. However, I am proposing a way in which we can just do trading between countries where we can set up a nice site to list items on both sides for people interested in buying such stuff. I work at this end and somebody works on the other end to souce products or get the orders shipped this way and the other way around. Somewhere along the way we will have to make some $$$$ in markups to cover our running costs. Think about this. Prefer not stocking as not much space here at the moment. Starting with small items for easy postage may help. You can forget about the FCL type contracts PRC factories are asking for. I can get them easily if I had the $$$$.
