    Brick and Mortar can increase your traffic more or Internet?

    Brick and Mortar is the traditional way of promoting like newspaper, events and etc. While internet is the search engine, banner exchange and etc.

    Which way do you think will increase your traffic more? And which one will last longer in maintaining the traffic?
    Any examples?

    Conventionally setting a shop, you need customers to come in your shop. So location is important. Taking this idea online, locate where should your link be found (search engine, banner exchange on other site, link exchange, advertising, etc) This is the concept of e-commerce where your website is your virtual sales office

    For site like www.complaints.com.my, this is a very general subject and you can advertise anywhere you want where traffic is huge because we're all consumers and we all make complaints...

    I believe in the future, everyone is going towards click and mortar idea. Internet is part of everyone's life now. The world is getting smaller. For me, click and mortar will last longer and at times, it might be cheaper.

    Cool both are important

    my company uses the internet to attract customers to call or better still order online and pay online

    BUT we still have to have the usual flyers and advertisements in the newspapers - because not everyone is on the NET.

    yes. I think online and offline is still a good way to promote a business..especially if we have some tangible product to sell..

    Hi,

    internet is another platform for u to promote or market ur products. To me, internet marketing is the latest, and cheapest way of marketing. Just imagine how much it will cost u to put up an full page advertisement on a newspaper? or organise an event? it may cost u RM 20k or even more. But with this RM 20k, a lot of activities can be arrange on internet.

    Anyway, if budget is not a problem for u, offline marketing still esential in bringing more customers to u. There is nothing right or wrong, these 2 method of marketing can be used together, to compensate each other, and to boost ur profits.

    An proven way of retain ur internet customers will be publishing a newsletter or ezine.

    No matter u r doing business on / off line, dont forget that u r still dealing wt people, and people do have feelings.
