Thread: How many inbound link to get PR1

age of my site about 1 month. when i check my site PageRank (PR),
its still PR n/a, but my site was indexed by Google and Yahoo.
maybe its take time and i m still patient. i m strive to get more inbound link
and i dont know my inbound target.
how many link should we get for PR1? PR1.......PR10?
i know it no specific number for answer, but any one there
have some description?
if i get 20-50 link? PR1 or PR2
who have experience about that?

hard to say how many that will do the trick.. its depend how the links is done. Is it reciprocal? one-way? 3-way? if linkback are from high pr8-9 site and maybe you need only 1 to get pr1 but your linkback is from those of pr0 of pr1 then you might need many..

don't wory bout the number, just start doing it and try to get as much as possible down the road...

you mentioned that your website is only up for a month... so you need to wait for google to update its pr database the next time around. Don't ask when, only google insider will know...

google update the pr once in a few months time so you got to wait probably a few month till they update the pr.
try to make as much links as possible
there is no specific amount of links for each level of ranking, the pr formula are indeed complex for a normal person to understand.
just keep on building good contents for your site and attract peoples to link to you.

The last time PR updated was a good while ago. The next toolbar PR update will be happening either this month or next month I think. It's a little late to be truthful, bu anyway you may have PR, but it's most probably not showing yet due to this.

PR update is 3 or 4 month once,(if not mistaken) and last month only once, should be after or before November 2007

There is a calculation of Page Rank, try to google "page rank" and it will drive you to wikipedia... but the calculation are complicated.

Yes, as robot said, content is important, once you have good content, with minor marketing, it will drive you traffic.

I remember someone told me before google haven't update the ranking for last 6 months already.. so be patient, if there are a lot of quality links to your site... you site will get the ranking they deserved. good luck

It might not always be like jumping to PR1 after the zero volume, because by continuing having a site which is well promoted through good backlinks and from realted sites, you can expect to jump to PR2 or 3 in the next Google update

no need to worry about getting pr1 just get the backlinks from whatever method you know. you will get the pr on google next update
