hmm, so there still have this kinda things huh..
i remember last time when free sms thru mailing system is still there, i always use that :P but is only for maxis user and now there's no longer have this service anymore..

yup.. not working on maxis.. unless you activate "accept web to phone" option.

since happened before = to many spam web sms message

Yeah, its great. and its also similar to something i've used long ago. Some kind of ICQ sms. but that doesn't exist anymore.

I've just tried sms to my own number hahah... nice. But would be nice though if the company can cut off their signature at the end of the message

ha3. i alsa had wrote a review about mobik on my site. but currently i'm working on make a software that we can use to send sms. it is a stand-alone application. it is a project for my industrial training.

arthermax: i dun think they will eliminate that coz is their own footer msg man:P

actually the footer message is the fuel of their income... its stated in their website that all free sms are sponsored by the sms footer...

this was taken from their faq page:

It is for internal sms (i.e. from PC to phones)?
or can it be used for free sms?
Then mayb you can distribute it as freeware for download.

don't you need to pay even you are using the internet to send sms? that's probably why all the free web based sms services died out as well.

Mobik not stable. the page can access/not sometimes.

yeah it's not too stable, sometimes it just hangs when you try to send an sms, but hey it's free, so can't complain much about it and it is able to send to all the operators in Malaysia.

I just realized that the program is not only flawed when the ads are attached to the sms messages. But your recipient must also be a Mobiz member in order to receive!!! NO WONDER I WAS THE ONLY WHO RECEIVE BACK THE SMS -______-''

yeah so it says, but I remember receiving sms from mobik before I even registered, wondering how that person sent the sms to someone not registered with mobik.

ya, when the 1st day i sign up, i didn register with my own number,just my secondary number that i didn not use anymore. but still able receive with my primary number, so to some of my collegue, they not yet register also can receive... following day i also face the same problem with arthermax

Yo arthermax,good news here, i found the tip and trick for this system, just 3 step to send REALY "free SMS" i hv posted the 3 simple in my blog.
