Surviving the web, what are your strengths (and weaknesses)?

I'm asking this for a reason. Inspired by a post (forgot which one) I have seen somewhere in the forum where the thailand webmaster forum works together to build an adsense empire.

I'm not looking to build an adsense empire. I just wanted to know what are the strengths and weaknesses of us, the fellow malaysian webmasters, so may be there will be a chance in the future we can work together to compliment our strengths.

My strength is probably the creativity, I love creating sites that's never created before (something like this http://geekescape.com , one of my sites). Other than that, I love copywriting. Not particularly any good (I had a lot of gramatical error and I'm lazy to edit them ) , but I like to do it and constantly try to improve on it.

My weakness has to be anything to do with codes. I have 1 year experience of PHP coding, and very familiar with CSS and HTML. But I have this codephobia where I had nightmares looking at codes. And another thing is my discipline and patience, I can enthutiastically start a website, run it for few weeks, and suddenly abandon it and sell it for cheap

What about your strengths and weaknesses on the web?

IMO few designers are materialistic, overly emotional, and possibly ignorant and few of them feel insecure not because of any craft exercise but just they feel that they have been lossed.

I think that's what makes them the better designers. The obsession of perfectionism that require every pixels of their design works nicely

Yep, but one can convert weakness into strength btw. I think every person is perfect, complete and whole just few things are missing there.

I'm multimedia designer degree holder but with no training on codings. Thats the biggest disadvantage for me as a webmaster. i believe any webmaster outside should have a comprehensive backend knowledge and able to develop a system for web application.

The new revolution age for web should no longer lies on basic HTML and create static web pages for their customer. And a good website should have a working CMS system behind it no matter how big or how small is the web structure.

Web designer should no longer be the sole creator of a website and a website should not depend only on its asthetic value. There should be a more functional approach rather than putting information and designing layouts.

Webmasters should be aware that clients are getting smarter and their demand is getting fussier. Without a good knowledge in coding, you won't be able to custom made a functional website for your clients.
