    Problem with my streamyx

    I am using Timenet dialup currently...I just dont know whats wrong with the Streamyx connection at my dad's office! It used to be quite fine until quite recently We are situated in Kawasan Rehat Bukit Dukung along the Cheras-Kajang highway, btw...

    Already contacted the TMNet guys and they came but couldnt figure out the problem. How to solve, ah?

    I'm facing the same problem last week.. I too have reported to TMNet but so far, there's no reply from them (not surprised)...
    Beginning today, however, the line seems to be ok save for the intermittent slowness (again, not surprised)...

    I'm facing the same thing also here in Penang.
    Connection becomes too slow, only a few 3-4 Kilobytes per seconds only.

    Do you know what's the worst thing about their service?
    Tmnet service is OK, but they tend to push you over to Telekom and I can tell you, Telekom support team are really rude. My call were being transferred to other party for 3 times without any solution.

    Anyone know where I can file a complaint?

    hey, i'm also having same problem with you guys, i mailed many times and called many times... and you know what..they came up with stupid solution how to resolved about slow connection problem. they try to teach me how to troubleshot with windows itself...wht the fuc! man...

    they won't admit that they're made a mistake which wrongly capped my 1mb package to 512kbps package..no wonder i've slow connection. asshol! ..
    that what i called them TMnut's

    huh...what the hell man.

    my neighbour subscribed tm streamyx for 1MB. and i've access to the modem/router main page using http://192.168.1.1/ and i look at the dsl status and shows 1024 at the down speed. mine was only at 512kbps.
    hey c'mon ...it's obviously they wrongly capped my broadband at 512kbps not 1024kbps. it's must be at the exchange.

    i tried check my download/upload using they speedometer and all i got speed at 424kbps=50kbps. if they did not capped my broadband at 512kbps and put it on 1024kbps i can get speed at 785-866kbps.

    till now they haven't send people or fix anything...obviously they really want me to scold them again.

    What u need to do is give em a call everyday untill they finally solved it, that is a very common problem for IM user & they dont have to come into your house to fixed that miscapped problem.

    i`m using tmnet streamyx 512kbps... somebody said to me that tmnet is automaticly updates 512kbps user to 1mbps. is that true..

    Im using 1mbs now... what my problem now is have very slow connection... On July, my test had 700+kbits... Start on middle of July, my connection speed drop extremely until 20kbits... I had made my 1st report on 28 July to TMnet. I call them everyday 2days. Until now, 1 September, my connection still slow like hell. The newest speed test on TMnet speedometer was "66.16kbits".

    You need to off your modem and rounter and then switch on again after 10 to 20 seconds, this will help.
