When Streamyx first launched, it took about 1-2 months for the installation. Right now is less than 1 week.

1 week at my place, but before that we tried to apply for Streamyx through Takaful Nasional, we waited for about 5 months before we gave up and went to Telekom's agent on our own.

Well.. finally i joined in the streamyx crowd, well. almost. I applied online, got the self installation CD from the tmnet store, and got my own aztech.. now, the lady at the tmnet store said no need to wait for contractor to have streamyx running, I tried install and connect it but then it return the remote computer did not response. I checked my application status it said "service available, installation in progress" so..... ???? advise?

lemme sum all of u guys feed back... STREAMYX? A gimmick by TMnet for all to register and surf... fast installation? another gimmick.. y? coz it's a 'blue hyppo' thingy.... they are big and slow... but fast in 'promoting' themselves...
