    Hi,

    Saya bercadang nak tambah ram dalam komputer saya...so ber cadangan yang terbaik sebab terlalu banyak jenis ram. tq.

    Well... first of all, you should find out what type of RAM and frequencies your motherboard accepts. DDR400, RD800, SD133, etc.

    The most common type of ram today would probably be DDR333/DDR400. The best type of RAM today would probably be Rambus or RDRAM 800/1600.

    As for brands, depends how much you have to spend. Like yjonkawaii said, Kingston is a good choice. Comes with a lifetime warranty.

    now I'm using MSI intel 845Echipset board. Currently I have 384MB RAM.. & I'm thinking to add 256MB RAM.. any risks if the RAM over 512RM

    nope. your board can support up to GB. But, are you sure you really need that much memory???

    actually rasanye kalau ko nak tambah ram sampai ke GB pastikan sistem ko boleh support memory tu. Aku ada dapat kingston 512mb DDR 266 Ram -RM395. Tapi sekarang arga ram tak menentu. Macam harga saham....bukan ram je hardware lain pun...

    I don't think I need more RAM... juz wanna know.. but the power supply enough to support more RAM??? as I know, if u add more RAM it need more power.. Even my fren laptop oso Baterry finish in shorter time after adding RAM..

    what are the prices for laptop RAM now?
    for 256MB... kingston or apacher..
