Cool CELCOM Broadband - simply the worst around !

    go to CELCOM website

you will see hundreds of handbags.
this freaking broadband service provider is having a identity crisis.

its CEO loves handbags so much, there more handbags than Kbps running from its server

imagine paying for broadband and getting like 3kbps in the middle of KL.

CELCOM simply dont care even if you complain 33 times
and their Customer service sucks . should send them all to Zimbabwe to train with the monkeys

    DIGI... any user here?
    You rang?

Oh, you mean DiGi 3G? Don't know. My DiGi EDGE connection has been flawless, for nearly a year. It's slow because it's old technology, but pages load much faster than on Streamyx when Streamyx is suffering its usual packet loss problems. Whenever I want to ask (not often!) DiGi something, their online chat has been quick and the people on it seemed reasonably professional.

I used a 3G connection when I visited the UK a couple of months ago. From a fixed location in my parents' house, it was very ... variable. It seemed to give anything from dialup to 2Mbit/s download, depending on time of day and weather? What seemed to make the biggest difference was whereabouts in the house the adapter was. I finally ended up shoving it between the legs of a prize statue I won as a teenager, and leaning that up against the window, so the adapter was pressed against the glass. Should have got a picture!

Unless you really, really need mobile broadband, a wireless connection should be your last choice. If only there was a competent wired broadband provider available!

Agree on Celcom. Maxis ok with the USB modem. Streamyx is half mad. So far using P1, really a happy customer
