Looks nice Syahrizal, but the articles are too long, too much text and no pictures! I think I've mentioned before you need to put a bit of your own soul into your site - just write a few sentences on what you think of some of the FOSS stuff you use, take a screenshot, or include project logos, and that would be good enough!

You know, if I thought there was the slightest danger of me getting a virus, I might even have a look at clamav. In 15 years of using Linux and Solaris, I've only had one rootkit'd Sun machine, one that someone had dropped into my office for free and I'd left it running on a public IP address over the weekend with very out-of-date software on it.

I don't tend to run a lot of software from home that would attract viruses. Probably my biggest worry is PHP-based websites served from my desk. I don't really even use word processing software - if I have to open a document someone sends me from Word or something equally awful, I open it with one of the online word processors, like Google Docs.

Thank you for visiting my website... But you dont register as member la.... Please sign in .... Pleaseeee...

About the antivirus... I still remember a computer Discussion about future operating system in radio IKIM.FM ... They say something about "internet based operating system" when we dont have to use todays computer anymore... Just open our computer like TV (start very fast) and use everythings(software, word processing, etc) on the internet only ....

But I think that will not happen as Linux and windows based OS is still conquering computer world...

Never say 'never'! People are tightly bound to their favourite OS, be it Windows, OS X, Linux, Symbian, whatever. But there are plenty of attempts to convert them to not-installed software. Have you tried out g.ho.st yet? I guess the movement to online or 'cloud' computing isn't going to proceed very quickly until Internet access becomes totally ubiquitous, or at least the attempts to cover up the times when we're not connected (like Google Gears?) are better integrated into our OSes.

I'm not sure how much of an effect on the AV market cloud computing will have. I wonder if you'll still have to keep your own AV up to date, or whether the cloud will have its own?

    what is the "AV"
    Anti Virus

I cant even understand what you say.
    Everybody says that

But do you really think that the internet based OS still possible.
Yes! I'm sure people once asked the same thing about the personal workstation OS. When I first started working in computing, hundreds of people shared one single OS, connected by wire, working from 'dumb terminals'. They still do, kind of, when they use webmastermalaysia or facebook. If you think of a web browser as a 'dumb terminal' and some of the more functional sites (google?) as the OS, then things aren't so different.

Did you try out g.ho.st? Here's a link, just in case you didn't realise it's an URL:

G.ho.stŪ (ghost) - Cloud computing - online storage, Virtual Computer (VC), Web OS (WebOS, Webtop)

There are others - see wikipedia:

    Thank you for the information.
But you still dont register as a member in my Welcome to the Frontpage

I am very takut to use ghost virtual computer because the OS is so not good.... To me... Because so slow... I dont want to use it anymore...

Maybe I will use the kind of OS when google make their own virtual computer. Like the google docs. I like almost every google products.

But not google pages. It is very contra from google blogger as google blog is so easy to use. I hope that google pages can become like their blog some day.

My dreams is that when the computer can become like TV. So easy and fast to start and dont have to worry about rosak as tv susah nak rosak kan. When Computer can be used as TV without tv card. thats mean the computer can use tv antenna to watch tv 1, When computer becomes so simple to use...

I hope my dream can becomes reality some day...
