    Melamin in Milk

last weekend I've been in state library
here finding the story solution of melamin
and a bit surprised when the books stated
Melamin was extremely popular (up until the 1950s)
in Europe and there is a lot of highly collectable
plastic items, particularly Art Deco style jewelery
made out of it.Derived from cyanamide or cyanuric chloride)
    and formaldehyde.

Now I have to pressure myself by understanding this !!!

also the writer's of the book said..
although melamin has nothing to do with milk
(although it is very high in protein) one of
the characteristics of this plastic is that
it has such an intense milk like smell,
a smell which can last for years on end.
    damn serious !!!

I don't think melamine is high in protein...it simply contains a certain something that tricks the milk protein machine into thinking it's got high protein content.

The scary part of this whole situation is that this isn't something that started this year...it's something that started quite a while ago. Thankfully, they found out about it this year or goodness knows how many other people would have been affected by this in the long run.

well, both of us questioning why it
appears on this year, after 61st Malaysia
been Merdeka.. we've been afraid of
    what we doing and eating..

after all, we could think BN parties
and responsibilities were irrelevant to people
and community.. few members here may not agree with us but
    situation has been proven..

Did korean babies die from chinese melamine ??
if they didn't, we still not realised

    The ammonium bicarbonate contains melamine

I have called Julies in Melaka to get more specifics. What the announcement did not make clear was that there is excessive melanine, and the melamine is contained indirectly inside "ammonium bicarbonate."

I hope they make that connection clearer the next time.

But they ARE still being responsible by making their announcement through newspaper ads, the Web, and cooperating with the ministry of health.

Yes, plastic is very bad for health.

    And so is fluoridated water.

Our tap water is all filled with fluoride, it slowly poisons our body...There is really NO health purpose for adding fluoride other than....*answer may be deemed controversial*

but as dangerous as melamine is, we also face the dangerous of other chemical, such as methanol , dangerous metal elements, and also pesticide from our daily intake. no wonder the case of cancer is increasing each year
