I'm using this for resizing images: http://bluefive.pair.com/pixresizer.htm

For photos, just use picassa: picasa.google.com

actually, photoshop already had all the thing you need.
You can RECORD ACTION , save it.
Then open 10 - 20's your photos in Photoshop.. even 100 pic (if your pc can handle it )

You dont have to, --> image, resize --> set resolution --> save for web... in 100 times.
just did once, record the action. And save the action. next pic you just have to click on the Saved Action.

Where to find action panel? Window = Action.

(I'll try to make a tutorial with screen capture images later )

normaly, when the file resized (decrease pixel X pixel).. the file size also decrease. For web resolution is 72/pxl/inch. The camera raw file may vary. Do check.

I never try another . Save For Web in adobe Photoshop is the best. I also automaticly added tag. example : "©mysticdreamworks" .. all image will be print this text on the image.. Automaticly! Saved Action's the best

I use this freeware for almost anything, resize, convert to other formats, create icons and favicons, etc: IrfanView - one of the most popular viewers worldwide
