I've been using Adobe for many years now but I think If we use it for personal use..ho hal laa...but if you use the software for making money and if it's a pirated software....well..I guess you could be in BIG trouble homes!

Also..some JPG and GIF images might have some additional information enclosed..only certain program could show you that you are using this software.Beside..if you are a regular user you can even tell if the person is using ADOBE just by the default brushes or components they use.

Don't get busted by the ANTI Piracy freaks out there!!...if you doing something for a legit company....make sure it's not a pirate software!

Remember..those who created the best software also created ways to find out if it belongs to them.(CIA Matters)

That's the reason Adobe required License Activation in their latest products.

can we legalised the image for example by "Save as" using lisenced software. how about this, A uses pirate software to designed and save the end product. While B who having the legal software will do legal copy for him using legal software.....comment sir...

Huh? They can track whether we are using the original software by images created by us? Can they? Or I misunderstood?

But nvm, I am using 100% legal Adobe photoshop.

    Hello this is Malaysia.
It's pretty hard for students and individuals to own and use a legal copy of expensive software like __dot__.
Even those "computer shops" that claim to install for multimedia students or special multimedia package computer, will use not legal copy and charge like 1-2K per installation of those program. (not including windows+etc)

BUT for certain companies esp. MSC, government + etc.
If apply can get subsidize from the government for those IT products.
(yes, some companies i work for got help from government )

Of course Malaysia, expects most companies to use legal licensed softwares, coz. company buat duit mah. But Malaysia being Malaysia...still a bit 3.5 world country, where got so much money to subsidize here and there.
So freewares, are like best friend to our boss(es).

Contacts from China, USA, UK said, usually they buy ori. there.
coz government wanna encourage them use IT stuffs, and usually they produce those stuffs so it's very much cheaper there.
My friends from China, told me they can easily buy a few good programming books for less thn RM5. but here.. RM50! buat photostate pun tak cukup.
But since the price ain't going cheap now in USA, most hv their private networks to dl. programs/files.

So for ppl like us. for personal usage.
    or even for educational purposes.
Nvm one.. no need to kira so much.
It's not like we're making money (lolz maybe) or selling the software commercially.
Just do it and use it!
Mak bapak + cikgu pun ada ajar "berjimat cermat itu amalan mulia".

    aaw man im so corrupted.

it's not just malaysia . it's all over the world is fighting for the piracy.
In whatever matter, it still growing and growing. Locally we still can find (not so easy in someplace, but really easy in other place) any pirate cd software, even now in DVD!

internationally somehow we had a P2P software, you can download everything!, from mp3s, software, videoclip even a FULL MOVIE (yeah! like you never did this before ).

SO!.. im as a normal human being those not had money to buy original software before... that's the learning process... but now, im working in my office, all software is under the company. And of course they pay for it. Not only 1 pc, but more than 500 pc (i think).

In my humble opinion, if there's no piracy = people didnt know how to use the software = no one will buy it later.

Microsoft didn't fight to much for their software piracy.. i think.. they only RUSH or checking only company's pc software. not a home user.. because office/company makes money.. Home user will teach their son/kids learning how to use windows at early age. So then.. they will use windows afterward..

SO for me.. piracy had their own DARK and BRIGHT SIDE.
No pirate software = hard to learn.
Too much piracy = Software company collapes/bankcrup/tapau/bungkus.

However.. if you can afford it. BUY IT!. otherwise.. use free alternative software

BSA will catch those who are using it for commercial purpose only. using pirated copies is a global issue, not only happen in malaysia. its not worth for them to catch those privately used copies to drag them to court, cos they has no money
