so is there any1 who EVER used it? I need some second opinion. The idea of using ipay88 intrigues me, but all I heard so far is the people that went and window-shopped, but no comments from any1 who purchased their service. And someone HAS to tell them that their header that spells

is really giving off a bad impression to my clients.

I tried emailing them about that, but the contact form redirects me to an outdated version of their site with notice in red, Email failed to sent. Whats that all about?

I need some second opinion because i'm favoring ipay88 over 2CO because of the low transaction fee and the coverage of Malaysian banks.

If you favour of low rate, take a look on PayPal, no setup and monthly fees. The only bad thing is USD5 per withdraw.

i'm looking for a more localized version. In this way, my client can put more option for Malaysians to use Malaysian bank's online services like CIMB Clicks, Maybank2u and for CC users, also supports Mastercard/Visa (for international). Plus the transaction fee is pretty low (3.0%) compared to 2CO (5.5%). That is nearly half as low right?

So far ipay88 promises these conditions, but I still find it sketchy as there are no clear reviews I found in this forum or other about their services. I need more guarantee before giving my word to clients on recommending them.

We can't get money out of PayPal as it doesn't support Malaysian bank, right? Or has it changed?

PayPal now support in Malaysia. You can withdraw from local banks already.

I also use iPay88, you can take a look at hotbuy2u.com, GPS Retail & Whosale Online Store in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand - GARMIN, HOLUX, QSTARZ. You find it no review maybe because online payment still slow in Malaysia. I experiencing using the service, so far ok, and I found CC more convinient compare to Maybank2u because of TAC. Tha't why I think CC still the best payment method online.

iPay88 start to offer service without maintenance fees for SOHO plan and also support paypal as well as USD. Good news for SOHO.

ya,i've just read the latest plan. sounds good. setup fee of RM488 is quite ok if to compare on the amount money needed to open a merchant account and create own payment gateway.

i guess the ipay88 management should have a testimonial page from satisfied customers

Competition is good .... iPay88 and NBEPay both have waived the monthly/yearly maintenance fee.

iPay88 >> turnover per month must be less than RM4000 (hmm, a bit restrictive huh?)
NBEPay >> no restrictions

Tested both before and seems to be ok.

Free maintenance for life time or just the first year? i tot the free is only for first year.

Paypal is legal 1 in Malaysia.
for security I 'll choose Paypal.
& it got a way to withdraw frm local bank using ATM card.
maintenance cost very low.

If your client is from local malaysian, the best service are all online banking direct bank transfer. because ipay88 system got so many windows popup next..net..next. i got so many users complaint because of this windows popup. 95% of user payment through ipay88, pay using credit card. The question is, why i got very low transaction using cash (bank transfer through ipay)..this is because they prefer direct bank transfer(maybank2u, cimb etc..) if they got cash. and that is available from other competitor like bloggers, mudah.com.my etc.

so my opinion is, if you do business internationally it would be fine. just beware of charge back. 2ndly ipay said they transfer payment every 5 days. for me sometimes it can be delayed up to 2 weeks.

when you deal in large amount of money..please do not trust any of these online payment gateway including paypal.com. i got bad experience lost about 75,000 USD to paypal after all my 5 paypal accounts has been block without warning or reason. including my ebay account got freez without any reason.
