Thread: Wordpress or dasBlog is better?

Both runs on different platform, so it's like comparing apple and orange. I can't comment much since I've never use dasBlog before (and I've never use Windows Hosting as well!)

If you're on Linux hosting, Wordpress is still the best in my opinion.

You cant go wrong with Wordpress. It's more eatablished and you can get Wordpress, PHP, mySQL support easily.

WordPress is search engine friendly, widely used blog scripts. So it must be your natural choice unless you wish to experiment something new. Though I do not have any idea about "dasBlog".

I have both Windows & Linux hosting packages, so I am still thinking of which one is better. I personally prefer wordpress as well, but just would like to know more about other script.

it also nice if you have the knowledge and experience on dasBlog...
the wordpress market are too huge, every one also wordpress, if u have good knowledge in dasBlog also nice

example like employement now a days. Few week back i went to interview, the interviewer told me technical support has 95 person apply and software support(ERP system) only 5 person apply.

which mean too many people in technical support field, hard to survice and if you have software skill, definately has the market.

dasblog = aspnet in C#
wordpress in php..

i would prefer dasblog.. but since my hosting plan includes self installation from the server there, i choose the wordpres..
no need think too much

If comparing both..
the windows server is ALWAYS SLOWER than linux server.
*sick of my company windows / asp server.. *

i would suggest wordpress.

but if u are using asp or .net.. nothing u can do.. u still NEED windows..
